Later, his sons entered the family business: Fred became involved in 1946 and Glenn Jr. in 1950. Glenn's four sons joined the operation: Fred and Glenn worked in Bristol and later Charles and Ralph in Vergennes, after the purchase of ""Thomas Mack Coal Co."" in Vergennes, which became Jackman Fuels, Inc. in 1938. In 1947, fuel oil was added to the product line and subsequently included LP gas. By 1967, coal sales ceased.
Following Glenn Jr.'s death in 1974, Fred Jackman assumed full ownership of Jackman's. He operated the business until his retirement in February 1995, at which point he sold the business to his sons, Paul and Peter. On July 16, 2018, Paul and Peter sold the company to Timothy Bouvier and his wife, Kristine Evarts Bouvier. Tim joined the company in 1999. The new ownership introduced a fresh name: Jackman's of Bristol, Inc..

In 2006, I started my business to provide additional income when work was scarce in the Union. I worked with the Union from 1999 until recently, when I chose to focus full-time on my business. I have tackled everything from minor home projects to major industrial semiconductor jobs across the United States. I grew up in Rutland and currently live in Rutland Town. I am dedicated to delivering high-quality work and stand behind my results.
