Jody managed the office and handled accounting while Scott took on the plumbing work. Scott charged a flat rate of just $26.50, regardless of the job's duration or difficulty. His mission has always been, and continues to be, ""Big enough to get the job done, small enough to show you we care."" Thanks to relentless effort and the backing of his three sons, Apollo has transformed into its current form and will endure for many more years ahead!
Scott Bird was raised in the Tri Cities and worked on a farm with his father until he turned 19. After high school, he opted to serve a two-year mission for his church in Germany. After returning, he attended Ricks College, now BYUI, where he met his future wife Jody, and they tied the knot in 1983.

We are fortunate to have Craigslist as our main marketing tool, but we're getting more referrals from past customers and identified alternative advertising methods. Things are looking bright!

Over the past 38 years, Steve has advanced throughout the plumbing industry and attained the title of Master Journeyman Plumber in the 90s. Several years ago, the economy faced challenges and simultaneously, Steve grew weary of working for another company. He made the decision to launch his own company and in the end create a better life while training his son to follow his path. Being a business owner truly embodies living the American Dream.
