His guiding principle was, and remains, ""Big enough to handle the job, yet small enough to care."" Thanks to relentless effort and the backing of his three sons, Apollo has transformed into its current form and will endure for many more years ahead!
Scott Bird was raised in the Tri Cities and worked on a farm with his father until he turned 19. Upon graduating, he decided to undertake a two-year mission for his church in Germany. Upon his return, he went to Ricks College, now BYUI, where he met his sweetheart Jody, and they got married in 1983.

He resolved to establish his own plumbing firm and eventually build a more fulfilling career while training his son to enter the same field.
