His guiding principle was, and remains, ""Big enough to handle the job, yet small enough to care."" Thanks to relentless effort and the backing of his three sons, Apollo has transformed into its current form and will endure for many more years ahead!
Scott Bird was raised in the Tri Cities and worked on a farm with his father until he turned 19. After high school, he opted to serve a two-year mission for his church in Germany. After returning, he attended Ricks College, now BYUI, where he met his future wife Jody, and they tied the knot in 1983.

He made the decision to start his own business and ultimately build a more fulfilling career while guiding his son to enter the same field.
