During that period, I wasn’t grateful for the chance and viewed the trade as “too messy,” but my initial disdain gradually transformed into fascination. I was enthusiastic about learning, and before long, I progressed rapidly as a plumbing technician. Even with my abilities, I didn’t fully comprehend why things functioned as they did. My uncles showed me how to fix and install, but whenever something was out of the ordinary, I was utterly confused! However, I desired more than this basic understanding, so I dedicated myself to learning the science and history of plumbing! Following a conflict with a supervisor, I decided to launch my own venture, which was the first step toward realizing my dreams! Since then, I’ve been fortunate to teach my skills to my two younger brothers and watch them thrive as well!

Fast forward to a few years later, my family and I faced eviction from our apartment, and I was earning minimum wage while also delivering pizzas. I considered all the people I felt I had failed, and I held myself responsible. That feeling of being cornered with no one to help me motivated me to find the tools I needed to not only dig my way out but to build a better future! That future is what I named Intrepid!
