After the stock market collapse in 2008, I was let go. Months later, I made the decision to obtain my plumbing license and embark on the journey of entrepreneurship. Securing a business loan proved impossible, so I focused on spreading the word about my services. For two years, I utilized unemployment benefits provided by President Obama. Since the unemployment money was insufficient for launching my business, I continued to hustle and inform friends and family of my goals. Even with my hard work, I struggled to make headway. In 2011, I noticed that Lowes was looking for installers, so I seized the opportunity. I have built a moderate reputation in plumbing, but I am still working to thrive. I owe much of my learning to my friend Bill Rucha in Michigan. I appreciate his support and guidance. I make an effort to help him when possible. I frequently run my business alone.
