After the stock market collapse in 2008, I was let go. Months later, I made the decision to obtain my plumbing license and embark on the journey of entrepreneurship. I faced challenges in obtaining a business loan, which left me with no choice but to promote my services. During this time, I relied on unemployment benefits, thanks to President Obama, for two years. Since the unemployment money was insufficient for launching my business, I continued to hustle and inform friends and family of my goals. Despite my efforts, progress was slow. In 2011, I noticed that Lowes was looking for installers, so I seized the opportunity. I have built a moderate reputation in plumbing, but I am still working to thrive. A friend in Michigan, Bill Rucha, has been instrumental in my learning. I am grateful for his assistance and mentorship. I do my best to support him in return. Most of the time, I operate solo.
