Upon earning his plumbing licenses for St. Louis City and St. Louis County, he was elevated to Job Foreman, taking charge of O.J. Laughlin's significant plumbing projects. Following five years as a Field Foreman, he moved into the office, receiving training to become an Estimator and Project Manager. Dan was elevated to Vice President in 2000, where he became responsible for a wide range of commercial, industrial, medical, and healthcare projects. He managed all design/build projects independently. On December 28, 2012, Dan and Bob Laughlin signed a purchase agreement, granting Dan sole ownership of O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company, Inc.
