Once he obtained his plumbing licenses for both St. Louis City and St. Louis County, he advanced to Job Foreman, overseeing larger plumbing projects for O.J. Laughlin. Following five years as a Field Foreman, he moved into the office, receiving training to become an Estimator and Project Manager. In 2000, Dan ascended to the role of Vice President, overseeing the majority of commercial, industrial, medical, and healthcare projects. He was solely in charge of all design/build projects. On December 28, 2012, Dan and Bob Laughlin signed a purchase agreement, granting Dan sole ownership of O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company, Inc.
