Upon earning his plumbing licenses for St. Louis City and St. Louis County, he was elevated to Job Foreman, taking charge of O.J. Laughlin's significant plumbing projects. After five years in the role of Field Foreman, he gradually shifted to the office, where he was trained as both an Estimator and Project Manager. Dan was elevated to Vice President in 2000, where he became responsible for a wide range of commercial, industrial, medical, and healthcare projects. He was solely in charge of all design/build projects. On December 28, 2012, Dan and Bob Laughlin finalized a purchase agreement, transferring sole ownership of O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company, Inc. to Dan.
