Bob's Rooter Service began was established by Bob Trowbridge in the year 2000. Brett, the son of Bob, began assisting him during the summer and after school initially and is currently a full-time team member at Bob's Rooter. Bob's path into the construction industry began when his parents bought a local hardware business in the Northeast district of Kansas City at St John and Hardesty for a decade. This hardware store was put on the market back in 1988 as Bob's parents chose to retire. Following that, Bob became the manager at Evergreen Lawn Care in Grandview, MO, which was later acquired by Barefoot Lawn Services, prompting Bob to look for new work once again. During 1991, Bob took a position as the manager of the shop at Reddi Services at their previous site located in Turner, KS. Eventually, Bob transitioned to fieldwork with Reddi Services as a service technician and continued with them until the spring of 2000 after the passing of both his parents. Bob decided to start his own business and left Reddi Root'r.

Advancing to a master's license, I craved new challenges, which I pursued by joining the well-regarded Kansas City franchise, Roto Rooter. During my time there, I built a plumbing department from the ground up, gaining expertise in corporate procedures while serving a diverse customer base throughout the Metro area.

As I conducted plumbing training sessions for new employees at Roto Rooter, I honed my knowledge of various plumbing products. After five years, motivated by a desire for more independence, I joined forces with Bob Miller to establish Morgan Miller Plumbing in 1997.
