Bob's Rooter Service was founded was established by Bob Trowbridge in November 2000. Brett, Bob's son, started working with him during the summer and after classes from the start and is now a full-time employee for Bob's Rooter. Bob's entry into the construction field initiated when his parents bought a hardware store in the historic Northeast area of Kansas City situated at St John and Hardesty for a period of ten years. The hardware store was put on the market back in 1988 after Bob's parents decided to retire. Afterward, Bob took on the role of a branch manager with Evergreen Lawn Care based in Grandview, MO, which was later taken over by Barefoot Lawn Care, leaving Bob to seek new employment again. In the year 1991, Bob started working as the shop manager for Reddi Services at their old location located in Turner, KS. Later, Bob moved to the field for Reddi Services in the role of service technician and worked there up until spring 2000 following the loss of his parents. I started my plumbing journey thirty-five years ago with Morgan Plumbing & Heating Company. After obtaining my master’s license, I sought new challenges, which I pursued by joining the well-regarded Kansas City franchise, Roto Rooter. During my time there, I built a plumbing department from the ground up, acquiring knowledge of corporate processes while serving a diverse customer base throughout the Metro area.

As I taught plumbing classes to new recruits at Roto Rooter, I deepened my expertise in various plumbing materials. After five years, driven by a yearning for greater independence, I partnered with Bob Miller to co-found Morgan Miller Plumbing in 1997. We envisioned a company that emphasizes fairness and generosity for both employees and customers.
