Carrying on his father's tradition, the son, Joe Glassman founded Glassman Climate Control in Russell, Kansas in the early 1980s. In 1985, he took over his father's firm, combined it with Glassman Climate Control and moved the operation from Russell to Hays. As Glassman's range of building and mechanical services grew, the company rebranded to Glassman Corporation in 1991.
