Continuing his father's legacy, the son, Joe Glassman founded Glassman Climate Control in Russell, Kansas in the year 1980. He bought his father's business in 1985, integrated it into Glassman Climate Control and moved the operation from Russell to Hays. As Glassman's range of building and mechanical services grew, the business was renamed Glassman Corporation in 1991.
