Mike Crosby grew up in the Kansas City area graduating from Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy met in high school. Mike's father-in-law, a plumber, sparked his interest in plumbing. Following four years of training with Plumbers Local 8, Mike graduated with a Journeyman's License and subsequently achieved his Master Plumber's certification.

Mike trained as an apprentice at A.D. Jacobson, specializing in commercial plumbing. He then switched over to residential plumbing and spent many years in the local industry. After a year working as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, an opportunity emerged for Mike to start his own company.

Mike founded Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he operated in new home builds and service areas.
