Mike Crosby, raised in the Kansas City area, completed his education at Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy have been together since high school. Inspired by his father-in-law, a plumber, Mike developed an interest in the trade. Following four years of training with Plumbers Local 8, Mike graduated with a Journeyman's License and subsequently achieved his Master Plumber's certification.

He completed an apprenticeship at A.D. Jacobson focusing on commercial plumbing. He then switched over to residential plumbing and spent many years in the local industry. Following a year as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, he saw a chance to launch his own business.

After starting Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he worked in new home construction as well as service. Today, Mike remains active in the field, bringing a wealth of experience from kitchen sinks to major sewer treatment facilities. Over the years, he has become not only Master Plumber certified but also Med Gas certified.
