Mike Crosby, a Kansas City native, graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife, Sandy were high school sweethearts. Mike's father-in-law, a plumber, sparked his interest in plumbing. Following four years of training with Plumbers Local 8, Mike graduated with a Journeyman's License and subsequently achieved his Master Plumber's certification.

Mike trained as an apprentice at A.D. Jacobson, specializing in commercial plumbing. Later, he transitioned to residential plumbing and dedicated many years to the local market. Following a year as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, the opportunity arose for Mike to create his own business.

Mike founded Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he operated in new home builds and service areas. Mike continues to work in the field, offering extensive expertise from kitchen plumbing to large-scale sewer treatment plants. Throughout the years, he has achieved Master Plumber certification and Med Gas certification.
