Kalen Barker, a fourth-generation master plumber with 17 years under his belt, was rushed to the hospital by a coworker during his career. The hospital released him soon after, believing it was a one-time incident. Sadly, this led to a two-year battle with a nervous system disorder that left Kalen reliant on a wheelchair.

Eventually, Kalen found himself using the wheelchair less and was able to return to plumbing work.

As word of his recovery circulated, Kalen's wife Stephanie motivated him to launch their own business to honor their second chance at health.
