Bob's Rooter Service was founded was by Bob Trowbridge on November 3rd, 2000. Brett, the son of Bob, started working with him during the summer and after classes initially and is now a full-time employee with Bob's Rooter. Bob's path into the construction industry started after his parents bought Land Hardware in Kansas City's historic Northeast neighborhood situated at St John and Hardesty for ten years. This hardware store was eventually sold back in 1988 after Bob's parents opted for retirement. Following that, Bob became a branch manager with Evergreen Lawn Care in Grandview, MO, which was later taken over by Barefoot Lawn, prompting Bob to look for new work again. During 1991, Bob joined as the shop manager for Reddi Services at their old location located in Turner, KS. In time, Bob shifted to working in the field at Reddi Services as a service technician and worked there up until spring 2000 following the loss of his parents. Bob chose to establish his own company and left Reddi Root'r.

Advancing to a master's license, I craved new challenges, which I discovered at the respected Kansas City franchise, Roto Rooter. During my time there, I built a plumbing department from the ground up, learning the ins and outs of corporate operations and serving a broad customer base across the Metro area.

As I conducted plumbing training sessions for new employees at Roto Rooter, I honed my knowledge of various plumbing products. After five years, driven by a yearning for greater independence, I co-founded Morgan Miller Plumbing with Bob Miller in 1997.
