Bob's Rooter Service was founded was established by Bob Trowbridge in the year 2000. Brett, the son of Bob, joined him in the summer after school hours from the start and now works full-time with Bob's Rooter. Bob's entry into the construction field initiated after his parents bought a hardware store in Kansas City's historic Northeast neighborhood located at St John and Hardesty for ten years. This hardware store was eventually sold in the year 1988 when Bob's parents decided to retire. Bob then became the branch manager with Evergreen Lawn Care located in Grandview, MO, which was later taken over by Barefoot Lawn Care, prompting Bob to look for new work yet again. During 1991, Bob started working as the manager of the shop with Reddi Services at their former location located in Turner, KS. Later, Bob moved to fieldwork with Reddi Services in the role of service technician and continued with them until the spring of 2000 following the loss of his parents. Bob chose to establish his own company and left Reddi Root'r.

Advancing to a master's license, I craved new challenges, which I pursued by joining the well-regarded Kansas City franchise, Roto Rooter. There, I had the opportunity to establish a plumbing department from scratch, acquiring knowledge of corporate processes and serving a broad customer base across the Metro area.

As I taught plumbing classes to new recruits at Roto Rooter, I deepened my expertise in various plumbing materials. After five years, motivated by a desire for more independence, I co-founded Morgan Miller Plumbing with Bob Miller in 1997.
