They relocated to their present location at 622 Topeka Street in 1971. Their son, Steven Lewis, began working with the company as an HVAC serviceman in 1977. In 2008, Steven took over the business from his parents and renamed it Comfort Systems Inc. to highlight the focus on comfort and energy savings.
Steven holds a State of Kansas license as a mechanical contractor and plumber. He has received training as a home energy rater and has been a member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992. Moreover, Steven holds NATE certification in duct installation and air distribution.
