Bob's Rooter Service was founded was established by Bob Trowbridge in the year 2000. Brett, Bob's son, joined him over the summer and after school early on and is currently a full-time team member with Bob's Rooter. Bob's entry into the construction field began following his parents purchased a hardware store in the Northeast district of Kansas City located at St John and Hardesty for ten years. This hardware store was put on the market in 1988 when Bob's parents opted for retirement. Bob then became the branch manager for Evergreen Lawn Care in Grandview, MO, which was subsequently bought by Barefoot Lawn, leaving Bob to seek new employment again. In the year 1991, Bob joined as the manager of the shop with Reddi Services at their old location in Turner, Kansas. In time, Bob shifted to working in the field with Reddi Services as a service tech and worked there until the spring of 2000 after the passing of both his parents. Bob chose to establish his own company and parted ways with Reddi Root'r.

After obtaining my master’s license, I desired fresh challenges, which I found by joining the esteemed Kansas City franchise, Roto Rooter. At Roto Rooter, I was able to create a plumbing department from the ground up, learning the ins and outs of corporate operations and serving a broad customer base across the Metro area.

As I conducted plumbing training sessions for new employees at Roto Rooter, I deepened my expertise in various plumbing materials. After five years, driven by a yearning for greater independence, I joined forces with Bob Miller to establish Morgan Miller Plumbing in 1997.
