Mike Crosby, raised in the Kansas City area, completed his education at Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife, Sandy were high school sweethearts. Mike's father-in-law was a plumber and got Mike interested in the business. Following four years of training with Plumbers Local 8, Mike received his Journeyman's certification and went on to receive his Master Plumber's License.

Mike worked an apprenticeship through A.D. Jacobson working on commercial plumbing. He then moved into residential plumbing, gaining extensive experience in the local sector. After spending a year at KU Medical Center as a Maintenance Supervisor, the opportunity arose for Mike to create his own business.
