Established in 1968 by my dad in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. Jankowski Plumbing and HVAC. I grew our services and trades. When I moved my family to Florida in 2004, I couldn't just open shop and gain experience with a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to satisfy the state's 4-year requirement by Florida law before attempting the state exam.

We made our mark in 2005 as Volusia Gas and Welding Company and transformed into Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I obtained my initial state license; State Master Gas Installer License # LP803-27524. I got my State certified Plumbing license in 2010. I’ve worked in the gas industry since 1983 and the plumbing industry since I was able to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I’ve worked in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about 14 years.

At one point, I thought I didn't intend to be involved in Plumbing anymore, so I signed up in the US Air Force before graduation in 1982 under the delayed entry program...that went over well with the old man, I tell you. I hoped to explore the world and carry on the family tradition to serve the nation. I served overseas in England until I returned in 1986 and moved back stateside to Homestead, FL up until 1989. I found my wife in the service, and we settled to Upstate NY, where we resided and raised our family. I went to work for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas service technician. We enjoyed the years 1990 to 2004 in the scenic area in the Northeast. The weather turned too frigid, so we returned to Florida. I had always dreamed to own my own business, so this is our journey. As a skilled retired handyman, I offer a wide range of services to meet your needs. I specialize in building decks and outdoor kitchens, and I also manage fencing and small outdoor buildings.
