Established in 1968 by my dad in the Poconos region of Pennsylvania, NY and NJ. Jankowski Plumbing and HVAC. I expanded the range of services. When I moved my family to Florida in 2004, I had to start fresh and join a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to fulfill the state's 4-year requirement by Florida law before taking the state exam.

We made our mark in 2005 as Volusia Gas and Welding Company and transformed into Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I secured my first State license; State certified Master gas installer License # LP803-27524. I achieved my State certified Plumbing license in 2010. I’ve worked in the gas industry since 1983 and the plumbing field since I was able to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I have experience in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about 14 years.

At one point, I thought I didn't intend to be involved in Plumbing anymore, so I enlisted in the US Air Force before graduation in 1982 under the delayed entry program...my father was thrilled about the old man, I tell you. I wanted to travel the globe and uphold the family legacy to serve the nation. I served overseas in England until I returned in 1986 and returned stateside to Homestead, FL where I stayed until 1989. I connected with my wife in the service, and we relocated to Upstate NY, where we lived and raised our family. I started working for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas technician and installer. We enjoyed the years 1990 to 2004 in the most beautiful place in the Northeast. The winters became too harsh, so we relocated back to Florida. I had always dreamed to own my own business, so this is where we are now. A family-run local business. With my experience as a retired handyman, I provide various services to meet your needs.
