Founded in 1968 by my father in the Poconos area of PA, NY and NJ. Jankowski Plumbing and HVAC. I added the specialties and trades. After relocating my family to Florida in 2004, I couldn't just open shop and gain experience with a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to satisfy the state's 4-year requirement by Florida law before taking the state exam.

We made our mark in 2005 as Volusia Gas and Welding and became Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I secured my initial state license; State certified Master gas installer License # LP803-27524. I achieved my State certified Plumbing license in 2010. I’ve been involved in the gas industry since 1983 and the plumbing industry since I was able to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I’ve been in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about over 14 years.

At one point, I thought I didn't want to work in Plumbing anymore, so I joined in the US Air Force before graduation in 1982 under the delayed entry program...my father was thrilled about the old man, I tell you. I wanted to explore the world and carry on the family tradition to serve our great nation. I was stationed overseas in England until I returned in 1986 and moved back stateside to Homestead, FL up until 1989. I found my wife in the service, and we relocated to Upstate NY, where we made our home and began our family. I went to work for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas service technician. We spent from 1990 to 2004 in the scenic area in the Northeast. The weather turned too frigid, so we returned to Florida. I had always dreamed to own my own business, so this is where we are now. Family owned and local. As a skilled retired handyman, I can handle numerous tasks to meet your needs. I specialize in building decks and outdoor kitchens, as well as fencing and minor outdoor constructions.
