Started in 1968 by my father in the Poconos area of PA, NY and NJ. Jankowski Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. I grew the range of services. When I moved my family to Florida in 2004, I had to start fresh and gain experience with a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to meet the state's 4-year requirement by Florida law before taking the state exam.

We made our mark in 2005 as Volusia Gas & Welding and became Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I secured my first State license; State certified Master gas installer License # LP803-27524. I achieved my state plumbing license in 2010. I’ve worked in the gas industry since 1983 and the Plumbing trade since I was old enough to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I’ve been in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about 14 years now.

Initially, I believed I didn't intend to deal with Plumbing anymore, so I joined in the US Air Force prior to graduating in 1982 under the delayed enlistment option...that went over well with the old man, I tell you. I wished to travel the globe and uphold the family legacy to serve the nation. I served overseas in England until I returned in 1986 and moved back stateside to Homestead, FL until 1989. I met my wife in the service, and we relocated to Upstate NY, where we lived and began our family. I started working for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas service technician. We lived those years in the scenic area in the Northeast. The winters became too harsh, so we relocated back to Florida. I always wanted to start my own company, so this is our journey. With my experience as a retired handyman, I can handle numerous tasks to meet your needs. I focus on creating decks and outdoor kitchens, and I also manage fencing and small outdoor buildings.
