Established in 1968 by my father in the Poconos area of PA, New York and New Jersey. Jankowski Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. I added the specialties and trades. When I moved my family to Florida in 2004, I had to start fresh and gain experience with a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to satisfy the state's 4-year requirement by Florida law before sitting for the state exam.

We established ourselves in 2005 as Volusia Gas and Welding and became Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I received my initial state license; State Master Gas Installer License # LP803-27524. I achieved my state plumbing license in 2010. I have been the gas industry since 1983 and the plumbing industry since I was old enough to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I have experience in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about over 14 years.

Initially, I believed I didn't intend to be involved in Plumbing anymore, so I enlisted in the US Air Force before I graduated in 1982 under the delayed enlistment option...my father was thrilled about the old man, I tell you. I wished to travel the globe and continue the family tradition to serve our great nation. I completed my service overseas in England until 1986 and moved back stateside to Homestead, FL where I stayed until 1989. I found my wife in the service, and we settled to Upstate NY, where we lived and raised our family. I took a job for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas service technician. We spent from 1990 to 2004 in the most beautiful place in the Northeast. It got too cold, so we relocated back to Florida. I had always dreamed to run my own business, so this is where we are now. As a skilled retired handyman, I offer a wide range of services to meet your needs. I focus on creating decks and outdoor kitchens, and I also manage fencing and small outdoor buildings. I can assist with minor plumbing projects, set up security cameras, perform coax and Cat6 pre-wiring, mount ceiling fans, install light fixtures, as well as hang TVs.
