Established in 1968 by my father in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. Jankowski Plumbing and HVAC. I added our services and trades. When I moved my family to Florida in 2004, I couldn't just open shop and join a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to fulfill the 4-year experience requirement by Florida law before attempting the state exam.

We made our mark in 2005 as Volusia Gas and Welding and rebranded as Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I obtained my first State license; State Master Gas Installer License # LP803-27524. I achieved my State certified Plumbing license in 2010. I’ve worked in the gas industry since 1983 and the Plumbing trade since I was young enough to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I have experience in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about 14 years now.

At one point, I thought I didn't want to deal with Plumbing anymore, so I signed up in the US Air Force before graduation in 1982 under the delayed enlistment program...my dad had mixed feelings about the old man, I tell you. I hoped to explore the world and continue the family tradition to serve our great nation. I served overseas in England until 1986 and returned stateside to Homestead, FL up until 1989. I connected with my wife in the service, and we settled to Upstate NY, where we resided and raised our family. I started working for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas service technician. We enjoyed from 1990 to 2004 in the scenic area in the Northeast. The winters became too harsh, so we relocated back to Florida. I had always dreamed to start my own company, so here we are. Locally owned and operated.
