Founded in 1968 by my old man in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Jankowski Plumbing and HVAC. I grew the specialties and trades. Upon moving my family to Florida in 2004, I needed to begin anew and work for a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to meet the minimum 4-year requirement by Florida law before attempting the state exam.

We made our mark in 2005 as Volusia Gas & Welding and became Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I secured my first state certification; Master Gas Installer License # LP803-27524. I achieved my State certified Plumbing license in 2010. I have been the gas industry since 1983 and the Plumbing trade since I was able to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I have experience in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about 14 years.

Initially, I believed I didn't wish to be involved in Plumbing anymore, so I signed up in the US Air Force before graduation in 1982 under the delayed enlistment option...my father was thrilled about the old man, I tell you. I hoped to explore the world and continue the family tradition to serve our country. I served overseas in England until I returned in 1986 and moved back stateside to Homestead, FL where I stayed until 1989. I met my wife in the service, and we relocated to Upstate NY, where we lived and started our family. I started working for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas service technician. We spent the years 1990 to 2004 in the lovely region in the Northeast. The weather turned too frigid, so we moved back to Florida. I always aspired to run my own business, so here we are. A family-run local business. Classic craftsmanship...lasting quality from a second-generation tradesman.

With my experience as a retired handyman, I can handle numerous tasks to meet your needs. I focus on creating decks and outdoor kitchens, and I also manage fencing and small outdoor buildings. I can assist with minor plumbing projects, set up security cameras, do coax and Cat6 pre-wiring, install ceiling fans, replace light fixtures, and hang TVs. Whatever you need, I can likely do it.
