Founded in 1968 by my father in the Poconos area of PA, NY and NJ. Jankowski Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. I grew the specialties and trades. When I moved my family to Florida in 2004, I couldn't just open shop and work for a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to satisfy the minimum 4-year requirement by Florida law before taking the state exam.

We made our mark in 2005 as Volusia Gas and Welding and rebranded as Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I received my first State license; Master Gas Installer License # LP803-27524. I achieved my State certified Plumbing license in 2010. I have been the gas industry since 1983 and the Plumbing trade since I was young enough to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I’ve worked in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about over 14 years.

Initially, I believed I didn't wish to deal with Plumbing anymore, so I signed up in the US Air Force before I graduated in 1982 under the delayed entry program...that went over well with the old man, I tell you. I wanted to explore the world and carry on the family tradition to serve our great nation. I completed my service overseas in England up until 1986 and returned stateside to Homestead, FL where I stayed until 1989. I met my wife in the service, and we relocated to Upstate NY, where we made our home and raised our family. I went to work for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas installer and technician. We enjoyed from 1990 to 2004 in the scenic area in the Northeast. The winters became too harsh, so we relocated back to Florida. I always aspired to start my own company, so this is where we are now. A family-run local business. With my experience as a retired handyman, I provide various services to meet your needs. I specialize in building decks and outdoor kitchens, as well as fencing and minor outdoor constructions. I also take care of small plumbing tasks, mount security cameras, carry out coax and Cat6 pre-wiring, install ceiling fans, replace light fixtures, and mount TVs. You name it, I can probably handle it. For those with rental properties, I offer maintenance services to keep them in top shape.
