In 1995, E.C. Stokes handed over the business to his daughter Susan, who had been with the company since the early 80s. Initially working as a receptionist, she progressed through the ranks becoming the bookkeeper, chief estimator, Vice President, and currently President/CEO. She obtained her air conditioning license in 1989 and the plumbing license two years later, establishing herself as the first female mechanical contractor in Palm Beach. Susan earned many accolades for her achievements as a prominent female business owner and having served on the State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board between 1997 and 2002.
