In 1995, Mr. Stokes transferred control to his daughter Susan, who had officially worked since 1983. Starting out as the receptionist, Susan worked her way up becoming the bookkeeper, chief estimator, Vice President, and today President/CEO. She earned a state license for air conditioning back in 1989 as well as a plumbing license in 1992, establishing herself as the sole female mechanical contractor in Palm Beach County. She garnered many accolades for her success as a leader of a woman-owned business while also serving actively on the State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board between 1997 and 2002.
