Brothers Richard (Rick) and Brandon Hume were raised in Plymouth, where they grew up until the 2000s.

Brandon transferred to Florida in the year 2004 to enroll in Florida Gulf Coast University, where he was a golfer and majored in finance. Meanwhile, Rick nurtured a passion for plumbing; he earned his license as a Master Plumber in 2008 and initiated what would evolve into PRO-TEC Plumbing, Inc.

After finishing his studies, Brandon contributed in excavating Rick's first house project in the year 2009. He opted to partner with his brother full-time as the company's vice president in 2011, managing the operations side of the business.

The two have transformed PRO-TEC Plumbing, Inc. from a small operation into a bustling full-service company. But their ideology remains the same: deliver exceptional customer service and produce results they would expect in their own homes.
