Brothers Richard (Rick) and Brandon Hume were brought up in Massachusetts, where they lived until the 2000s.

Brandon transferred to Florida in 2004 to study at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he played golf and majored in finance. Meanwhile, Rick developed a passion for plumbing; he earned his license as a Master Plumber in 2008 and initiated what would evolve into PRO-TEC Plumbing, Inc.

After finishing his studies, Brandon contributed in excavating Rick's first residential project in 2009. He chose to partner with his brother for good as the company's second-in-command in 2011, overseeing the operations side of the operation.

The two have transformed PRO-TEC Plumbing, Inc. from a modest operation into a thriving water system organization. But their philosophy remains the same: deliver superior customer service and achieve results they would expect in their own properties.
