Brothers Richard (Rick) and Brandon Hume were raised in Massachusetts, where they grew up until the early 2000s.

Brandon transferred to Florida in the year 2004 to enroll in Florida Gulf Coast University, where he competed in golf and studied finance. Meanwhile, Rick developed a dedication for plumbing; he earned his license as a Master Plumber in the same year and initiated what would evolve into PRO-TEC Plumbing, Inc.

After completing his studies, Brandon helped in excavating Rick's first house project in 2009. He opted to team up with his brother for good as the company's executive officer in 2011, managing the office side of the business.

The two have transformed PRO-TEC Plumbing, Inc. from a modest operation into a bustling full-service company. But their philosophy remains the same: provide exceptional customer service and achieve results they would want in their own properties.
