At 15, Tim recognized that this was the direction he wanted for his career. He chose to attend Green vocational school for HVAC in his junior year. He also attended R.S.E.S (Refrigeration Service Engineering School) in the evenings during this period. At GVS, his instructor assigned him to an advanced job placement in the second quarter of eleventh grade as a test, and the outcomes were impressive. Finding meaningful work at such a young age was a significant blessing for him. With his strong work ethic and mechanical skills, Tim found it to be an ideal match. Driven by a passion for service, he felt he was exactly where he needed to be. Due to a back injury, Roy Parkey decided to relocate to Florida, allowing Tim to take over the company at just 18 years old. Tim upheld a legacy that has lasted 37 years, starting on February 12, 1973.
