At just 13, Tim Parkey, the second eldest son, started working weekends and during the summer.

By age 15, Tim realized this was the career path he wanted to pursue. He enrolled in Green vocational school for HVAC during his eleventh-grade year. At the same time, he took night classes at R.S.E.S (Refrigeration Service Engineering School). At GVS, his instructor assigned him to an advanced job placement in the second quarter of eleventh grade as a test, and the outcomes were impressive. Finding meaningful work at such a young age was a significant blessing for him. With his strong work ethic and mechanical skills, Tim found it to be an ideal match. His desire to serve others confirmed he was in the right place at the right moment. After suffering a back injury, Roy Parkey chose to move to Florida, giving Tim the chance to lead the company at the young age of 18. Tim upheld a legacy that has lasted 37 years, starting on February 12, 1973.
