I, Raymond Gray, come from a long lineage of plumbers. For many years, my great-grandfather and grandfather worked as pipe fitters on military ships. My grandfather joined the Union after serving in the Navy during the 1960s. Eventually, he specialized in residential and commercial plumbing services and repairs.

My father, born in 1961, learned plumbing from my grandfather during his childhood. I was born in 1977 and recall crawling under houses at age eight, playing in the dirt while watching my dad make repairs. At about twelve, I began to take on plumbing repairs. While I didn’t enjoy plumbing at first, my upbringing in a struggling family compelled me to acquire a trade.

I left high school, obtained my GED, and moved out. In 2001, I began working with my dad again. I launched A-1 Total Service Plumbing in 2004 and have never regretted it. Every day, I work alongside my dad. I require high standards from my plumbers to guarantee the best service for my customers.
