Lloyd relocated his family from their farm in Colorado to Culver City, California, in 1956. In the early days of his plumbing career, he juggled two jobs to make ends meet. By night, he loaded Carnation milk trucks, and during the day, he worked as a plumbing apprentice. In 1965, Lloyd obtained his contractor's license and moved to Thousand Oaks to establish Lloyd's Plumbing.

In 1980, Ed succeeded Lloyd as the head of the business after Lloyd's retirement. Ed aspired to be the best while ensuring a high level of professionalism. He implemented clean vehicles, uniformed staff, helpful customer service representatives, and a “we can handle anything” mindset for the company.

In 2013, following years of dedication since the 1990s, Ed's sons Ryan and Aaron took charge of the family business. They are passionate about carrying on the family legacy by ensuring the highest quality plumbing services with a focus on honesty, integrity, and family values!
