I utilized my completely outfitted Daystar van to assist Mike's clients, easily switching branding signs for the two brands as needed.

I started doing plumbing for a neighbor, the owner of Bright Plumbing, in the early 1980s after returning to the Bay Area from my time teaching English in Japan for 2 1/2 years.

I am passionate about sustainability, and have made several trips with a coalition to speak to government officials, the administration and the World Bank regarding forest conservation and the environment at my personal cost.

I am actively engaged in environmental advocacy, helping to defeat poorly planned developments, and am currently involved in community sustainability initiatives, Pacifica Climate Committee, & the city council-appointed ""Climate Action Task Force"".
