The closure of that business in 2000 inspired me to run Daystar Plumbing as my primary focus, maintaining service in Marin County, the city, and the surrounding areas as I had with Lipsey/Mill Valley Plumbing, and to continue service agreements with Kohler Company, Bosch, and others.

I am thankful to Bright and Mike for the valuable lessons and understanding I acquired from their mentorship.

I brought my completely outfitted Daystar vehicle to assist Mike's customer base, easily swapping magnetic signs for the two businesses as needed.

I keep very friendly terms with both of them, and former fellow employees of the businesses.

I began doing plumbing for a local resident, Bright Winn, in 1982 after arriving to SF from my teaching stint in Asia for two and a half.
