Spencer Keenan graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Industrial Design. His studies gave him the ability to bring designs to fruition and to solve problems encountered throughout the process. His talents, paired with the charm of California's central coast and his enthusiasm for creation, motivated him to engage in green building in Santa Cruz.

Co-owner Taylor, raised on Kauai, has always had a strong interest in construction. When he was just 8, he constructed his first building, a tree fort crafted from salvaged wood, complete with a drawbridge, bedroom, screened porch, and garage. After graduating from UCSC with a degree in politics, Taylor continued to explore his building interests by working under a general contractor in Santa Cruz. He became increasingly inspired and motivated by green building practices. As a Certified Green Building Professional, Taylor now integrates his knowledge and experience into all our projects.
