Spencer Keenan graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Industrial Design. His education equipped him to take designs from concept to completion and to devise solutions for challenges that arise during the process. His talents, paired with the charm of California's central coast and his enthusiasm for creation, motivated him to engage in green building in Santa Cruz.

Co-owner Taylor hails from the island of Kauai and has always been passionate about construction. At the age of 8, he built his first structure, a tree fort made from reclaimed wood, featuring a drawbridge, bedroom, screened porch, and garage. After graduating from UCSC with a degree in politics, Taylor continued to explore his building interests by working under a general contractor in Santa Cruz. He found himself increasingly inspired and driven by the principles of green building. Now, as a Certified Green Building Professional, Taylor incorporates his knowledge and skills into all our projects.
