Lloyd relocated his family from their farm in Colorado to Culver City, California, in 1956. At the start of his plumbing career, he worked two jobs to support his family. By night, he loaded Carnation milk trucks, and during the day, he worked as a plumbing apprentice. Lloyd earned his contractor's license in 1965 and relocated to Thousand Oaks to start Lloyd's Plumbing.

In 1980, Ed succeeded Lloyd as the head of the business after Lloyd's retirement. Ed aspired to be the best while ensuring a high level of professionalism. He implemented clean vehicles, uniformed staff, helpful customer service representatives, and a “we can handle anything” mindset for the company.

In 2013, after working their way up since the 1990s, Ed's sons Ryan and Aaron assumed control of the family business. They are dedicated to upholding the family tradition by providing exceptional plumbing services rooted in honesty, integrity, and family values!
