I used Zurn in the past and thought their services were overpriced but a cost of quality work. I have concluded Zurn is just overpriced - when I requested a check on whether a high water bill was caused by a leak I was quoted a charge by the office of $69 for the leak check. After being in the house for about 15 minutes the technician charged me $189 for a $69 """"trip charge"""" and a $120 """"diagnostic fee"""" that was not quoted before the bill was presented. The technician also tried to convince me to replace a pressure valve that he said """"might"""" not be working properly. If you deal with Zurn get the quote in an email before they arrive and be careful about getting a sales pitch for additional work

Zurn came on time and very knowledgeable. After repairing the lavatory I asked about our aging water heater. He advised of options and actually talked us out of buying an overly expensive tankless based on our office's low need. Very good advice!

I had experienced the 3rd water leak in my house - built on a slab with the leaks in pipes underneath the slab. The cost to repair was large and no guarantee I wouldn't get another leak shortly thereafter. So I decided to have the house repiped. Zurn had replaced the leaky main water line to the house last year so I asked them for a quote. It was a reasonable price compared to others I had seen. John and Richard came out and in a few days had the whole house repiped with Pex. They worked hard, efficiently, and neatly. Ted Zurn came out personally to check on the work several times. When there was a question about the scope of work at one point, Ted was emphatic that they were going to honor their agreement and make sure I was satisfied. It is refreshing to work with a company committed to doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do. I have already recommended Zurn to some good friends because I know they will do a great job. Thanks again for a job well done!

Updating to Full Five Stars. Zurn's team has helped out with 2 additional plumbing needs since our last review. First, coming out to repair a sprinkler line leak at our main water line; and a second time coming out and completely redoing our line-out for our dishwater drain line (found once we replaced our old dishwasher with a new model that the original line out needed to be completely redone). On both counts, Zurn came out and solved the problem. Glad to have Zurn come out, pay one price and get it fixed right the first time.

We've used these guys twice now, and both experiences were extremely positive. They are upfront about the pricing, and this last time ended up being lower than he originally estimated. The plumber also saved me even more money by letting me know about a deal on Angie's List, and then topped it all off by giving me a new flapper for the toilet gratis. Scheduling service was a breeze, and they were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

After trying other plumbers, we decided to try Zurn from the recommendation from our insurance broker. Ted and his team have always been upfront, timely, well priced, professional, and attentive. We've had them do everything from fixing small leaks, replacing hose bibs, up to decommissioning our septic and connecting us to sewer. We will continue to use and recommend Zurn.

Aleks could not have been more professional - diagnosed a very tricky issue, repaired it quickly and priced it fairly. Then, discovered another leak and issue that could have lead to additional problems and took care of that, too. Forget the rest when you have a plumbing need... don't get burned - just call Zurn. Zurn helped us with a real problem. I live in VA but my sister's house in ATL was having a massive sewage backflow. Chris, the manager, sent guys out that day to assess the problem and clear an obstruction. They put a camera in the line and got the line cleared, but they said the problem wasn't solved. A few days later it happened again, and this time Zurn dug up the line and cleared it. Same day. They charged me less than estimated! These guys are terrific.
