Our master bath toilet drain was partially blocked and causing water to back up in the shower and other toilets in the house. We were referred to Zurn Plumbing from a friend's plumber (who was unable to assist us with this issue). Matt and Pete fro Zurn arrived on time and were very cordial and professional. I explained the situation and Matt quickly diagnosed what the issue was and how best to resolve it. He and Pete walked through the work that needed to be completed as well as the cost/time requirements. They got to work and were kind enough to indulge both my interest and many questions throughout the repair process. They finished on time and checked the other toilets to ensure they were functioning properly. Matt also brought some other non-urgent items to my attention based on his knowledge/experiences -- just things to be aware of and to keep an eye on going forward. Extremely positive experience and reasonably priced!! I couldn't be happier with the results! Thank you Matt and Pete for an excellent experience. I highly recommend Zurn Plumbing (and technicians Matt and Pete) for all of your plumbing emergencies. Thanks again!!!
......next door neighbor told my daughter she smelled gas coming from the area of her back deck. She contacted Atlanta Natural Gas to report the leak and they sent someone out immediately to locate the leak and lock the gas meter. Next morning she called Zurn Plumbing and scheduled an appointment. Their scheduler called to let us know exactly when their plumber would arrive, which was much appreciated. Master Plumber Mike Prescher quickly diagnosed the cause of the gas leak and gave me an estimate. He told me exactly what he was going to do and how long it would take. Also told me to contact Atlanta Natural Gas to get the meter unlocked and water heater re-lit once he was finished. Would definitely recommend Zurn for any plumbing work. They're a local company that has an established training program for their plumbers to assure they are qualified. It's also good to know they've been around for years and stand behind their work.
I had experienced the 3rd water leak in my house - built on a slab with the leaks in pipes underneath the slab. The cost to repair was large and no guarantee I wouldn't get another leak shortly thereafter. So I decided to have the house repiped. Zurn had replaced the leaky main water line to the house last year so I asked them for a quote. It was a reasonable price compared to others I had seen. John and Richard came out and in a few days had the whole house repiped with Pex. They worked hard, efficiently, and neatly. Ted Zurn came out personally to check on the work several times. When there was a question about the scope of work at one point, Ted was emphatic that they were going to honor their agreement and make sure I was satisfied. It is refreshing to work with a company committed to doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do. I have already recommended Zurn to some good friends because I know they will do a great job. Thanks again for a job well done!
Reid M.After trying other plumbers, we decided to try Zurn from the recommendation from our insurance broker. Ted and his team have always been upfront, timely, well priced, professional, and attentive. We've had them do everything from fixing small leaks, replacing hose bibs, up to decommissioning our septic and connecting us to sewer. We will continue to use and recommend Zurn.
Easily, the worst service experience of my 25+ years in Atlanta. I called a week in advance to arrange an appointment for a very time sensitive project. I was told the first time someone would absolutely call me that afternoon to schedule - no one called. We repeated this drill for the next two days with me reiterating it's importance because as the date approached it would be impossible to schedule another plumber on short notice. I was PROMISED it would get taken care of. And sure enough, someone showed up on Monday morning (I even took the day off work to accommodate this date), but, they said they were only there to do an estimate and wouldn't be able to do the work until Tuesday. The estimate was near $1900, which seemed excessive but they knew they had me over the barrel and I had no other options. I took another day off work to be there Tuesday when the plumber arrived and did 5 hours of work with minimal materials (I had prepared most everything needed). I was shocked when the bill was still near $1900, but I paid it. I took the receipt to two different plumbers who said it was impossible to estimate what was a fair price without an itemized receipt of the work completed. But, based on what I explained I needed done, and the five hours of work it took Zurn, they estimated $600 - $900. I called Zurn and requested an itemized receipt. They repeatedly refused this request. Eventually, the owner emailed me and said it's not their """"policy"""" to itemize the work. Which I told him is because by most accounts it would be impossible to itemize $1900 of nothing. It's my fault for not immediately realizing that when they failed to deliver on their promise to return my initial calls that I was dealing with unprofessional opportunists. Lesson learned.
I have used different plumbers for different issues, but Zurn is now my """"go to"""" plumber. I have used them on both my total kitchen renovation and total master bath renovation and I am very pleased with all their work. Zurn is NOT the cheapest plumbing company but they are extremely professional, thorough and precise. I know I can trust Zurn to do the job right the first time.
They charged $550 to replace a new pop-up/drain/pipes under bathroom sink. A technician told me the price difference between brushed nickle pop-up and chrome pop-up would be $100, checked the supply at Lowes less than $50 total. They spent 30-45 minutes for the work, and I felt it was way over priced than others. Will not use this company again.
After flooding part of our basement, we had a Nation brand company tell us they would need to dig up our basement floor to repair a bow in the sewage pipe. We were referred to Zurn Plumbing Service for a second opinion. Two guys showed up, were very professional, ran their camera into the sewer to check if the first assessment was correct. Thankfully they found no bow in our sewer pipe so we didn't need to sacrifice our new hardwood floor. Power flush was the recommendation. Saved us about seven thousand dollars. Call these guys, you won't be sorry.
We called in with and emergency leak situation and two techs showed up within an hour and addressed the situation quickly. We also learned the regulator (not sure if that's the proper term) was bad, and had that replaced at the same time. Was very relieved that they showed up so quickly and knew what they were doing. Very professional technicians - great customer service - highly recommend!!!
These guys are shady business folks! Had a pool house plumbing project on the books for 4 months with a contract signed. Emailed us the day before they were supposed to start and said they couldn't do the project! Turns out, they never even permitted the job which makes me think they never intended do it in the first place! Got alternative quotes that were actually way cheaper! Way overpriced and didn't even deliver!!! Other than delaying my project for 4 wks, happy they didn't end up doing the work. They were recommended by a trusted source that has now severed ties as a result! Stay away!
