I have dealt with Zurn a good bit at the property I maintenance. These guys are great. We have a cistern on my property that feeds the irrigation system. The pumps had stopped working. The problem was we had no real way to access without cutting concrete. Matt from Zurn developed a game plan for us and got us set up with new pumps and expansion tanks that we can now easily maintain. No one else wanted to touch this. We have used them for several other projects on the property. They are always prompt and always do a bang up job. I trust these professionals and their decades of experience. Thanks Zurn!

I used Zurn plumbing recently and had a great experience. They came the day I called them and on time. Their technicians, Nick and Richard, were excellent. Although the fix was minor, they took time to answer all our questions and spent time with us to educate my husband and me. Their fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I have used Zurn on several occasions and am very pleased. Their technicians are experienced, professional, and on time. They explain the costs upfront and are able to answer my many questions. I have had a couple of emergency plumbing needs and they responded to my calls withing 15 minutes and had a technician at my house within an hour! Most recently they replaced my entire sewer line after years of chronic root problems and ineffective patches and fixes by other plumbers. It was a big job but they finished it in the amount of time they said and stuck with the quoted price. They even reduced the cost by the amount I paid them for a recent sewer clean out.

I wish I has read the reviews before calling Zurn. I used them in April 2014. They were overpriced and tried to sell me something that I did not need in addition to what I did need. When I questioned the price, they offered a fake """"coupon"""", which the plumber just happened to have. Their work was fine, but I would not call them again. Their plumber did not seem trustworthy.

Zurn came on time and very knowledgeable. After repairing the lavatory I asked about our aging water heater. He advised of options and actually talked us out of buying an overly expensive tankless based on our office's low need. Very good advice!

They arrived on time, called ahead to let me know they were on their way. I like that they had a pre-printed price list. They seemed fair with their pricing and were ready to do the work. I will use them again (hopefully I will have no more plumbing issues but if I do I will!)

Summary: overpriced, didn't stand behind their work, and missed a much more significant problem. Our sewer backed up into our basement, so we called Zurn on the recommendation of a neighbor. The plumber came and snaked out about half of the line, and found remnants of baby wipes, which I now realize we should not have been flushing. $705 and one valuable lesson later, the plumbing was back to normal -- we thought. Exactly three weeks later, the sewer backed up again. There was a two-week warranty on the original job, so we called Zurn back to see what they thought. The plumber was very dismissive, saying that """"it was probably baby wipes again"""" (we hadn't flushed a single one since the cleanout), and told us it would cost another $700 for him to come back and do the same thing. This is not my idea of good customer service. We called another plumber, who did a much more thorough job with a longer snake for $450. More importantly, he realized that the line wasn't just clogged, but that tree roots had broken through it, which explained why 3 weeks of normal use led to another backup. The Zurn guy didn't realize or mention any of this during his job or when we called back, even though after doing some research I realize that this is a very common problem. So we had to pay for another cleanout job instead of fixing the real problem.

BEWARE. They charged me $150 to give me a quote but won't credit all of the $150 unless I did everything on their quote which was greater than $5,000. Be wary of plumbers that charge you a fee to give you a quote. I called Zurn to have them come out for a quote. They said that they charge to come out and give quotes but that if you decide to use them, they will credit the quote fee against the work done. So they sent Shawn over to my house to take a look. All I really wanted was to get a garbage disposal installed and have them check on a leak in my crawlspace. Shawn ends up quoting me 4 things to fix that will cost me over $5,000. When I called Zurn back and told them that I only wanted to do the garbage disposal, they said that they cannot give me $150 (that they had charged me for the quote) unless I did EVERYTHING that was on the quote. ARE YOU SERIOUS? They apologized for the """"miscommunication"""" but they really should be apologizing for """"scamming"""" me. Furious, I found another plumber. BTW, Zurn could only install a garbage disposal but cannot install new wiring. I found a guy that could do both at a lower rate and didn't charge me to give me a quote.

I called Zurn yesterday and they sent someone out today. The plumber was on time and professional. He was able diagnose the garbage disposal and repair it instead of just saying """"it's broke replace it."""" Then to top it off, they were very fair with the pricing.

I have used Zurn probably 10 times and they are always on time and give you a fair price up front. My son just had some major work done and they were well below the competition and did a great job.
