We called those guys in emergency today as we had a flood in the bathrooms of our company. They came in less than 45 minutes, were courteous, treated us like we were their best customer even though it was a first time and fixed our problem in two hours for a very very affordable price. Thank you again, you are now the first on our list to call if we have another problem. I recommend them to every one.

Clayton, DeMarcus and the team are great!! They completed a complicated sewer lateral for me and just recently I called them in the morning with a broken water heater and that afternoon I had a new one installed and working wonderfully. Dee Marcus came out this morning, on the earlier end of the one hr. window I was given, to fix our non-operating hot water faucet in the kitchen. He was pleasant, quick and thorough. I would definitely recommend them.

As a long distance landlord, I rely (or used to rely on Yelp) to base my referrals on.

I recently had a tenant complain about low water pressure in the shower. I called Z and Z Plumbing, and their rates are quite competitive and happened to be available at the earliest appointment date. I decided to switch out the shower head with a rain shower head as a desirable upgrade.

I was quoted that the diverter needed to be replaced.

Two days later, the tenant noticed water seeping out through under the carpet and into the common corridor. The diverter was obviously leaking and the culprit I suspect was Z and Z Plumbing and their sub par workmanship.

I have hired other plumbers as a long distance landlord, granted they might be more expensive, but have not experienced such a negative response. Although they fixed the leak free of charge, the water and moisture remediation, including removing and patching and repair portions of the drywall exceeded about 4k dollars! all for replacing a shower head and diverter.

I will not be calling Z and Z Plumbing ever again due to this negative experience.

Great, friendly service.

Tried to have a hot shower and only cool water came out. Checked the water heater and realized she was dead. Tried calling 10 or so plumbers on a Saturday morning
and only got recordings. Finally Z and Z Plumbing responded, gave me a quote and
DeMarkus showed up one hour later with a new water heater. It only took an hour to replace the old one. DeMarkus charged me a fair price and didn't pad any for being
a weekend. The rest of the day, I got calls from the other plumbers who told me they were glad I was helped but they couldn' t have come anyway.
I highly recommend Z and Z . If you need a plumber, call Z and Z.

A relative of mine referred me to Z Z Plumbing. We needed a plummer to come out to snake a pipe from inside the house. They came out on Friday. After snaking the pipe, it was established that they would have to snake the pipe from outside. So they came back on Monday with a machine to snake the outside pipe. They completed the work. They did an excellent job, cleaned up and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Z Z Plumbing to others.

Called for service in the morning and two hours later answered the door to get a minor leak repaired. The plumber was professional and efficient. The rate was $120 per hour. I gave him my credit card and he wrote down the cc# on both of our receipts. This was last week and I still don't see the charge. The service was great but don't like the feeling knowing that my credit information is somewhere in a stack of papers waiting to be processed. This is how identity theft happens. Just sayin'

Started out 2015 needing a lateral sewer repair. Got two quotes and went with Z&Z Plumbing to do a 100' trenchless line from the front of my house to the City's sewer line. Also wanted cleanouts in a couple of places and a backflow put in, plus EBMUD inspection (good for 20 yrs.). It was really a production (2 days) as the hillside is about a 40 degree slope and they had to pull the plastic pipe from the top down to the street. The crew members were all great, friendly, helpful and did a great job putting everything back together, including a small rock wall. Clayton, the PM, was great throughout the process. Now I have a sewer line that will outlast me!

I hired them to replace a sewer lateral in Oakland and it failed the first inspection, but passed the re-inspection. How I don't know because the building inspector for the whole rehab project came out four months later and said that the whole sewer lateral needed to be re-done due to negative slope. They had to do additional work which I paid for but they didn't invoice me correctly. After four separate conversations with their book keeper, I never got the corrected invoice for tax purposes. This company lost me time and money, two things I don't have.

Great Service

Tried three plumbers who didn't even return my call. Another was booked for two weeks. Z and Z answered right away and I got an appointment for two days later. The plumber showed up exactly as scheduled-- no four hour window BS. Quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Thanks, James. Highly recommend.
