Through our home warranty company we had another company attempt to fix the problem but did not. York Mechanical was professional, kind, informative, and professional. They tech fixed our problem and actually provided other important information about our unit. I will request York Mech from our home warranty next time we need service.

Warranty company sent out this company for warranty work. Furnace would at least run for 10 minutes before they showed up. After their diagnosis they blamed a previous contractor for breaking pieces in the furnace and now it doesn't work at all. I am not an hvac tech but i don't understand how it worked before they showed up and didn't work at all after they left but supposedly it is another contractors fault it doesn't work. I've never had a technician tell me they need time to diagnose and I need to leave them alone. DO NOT LEAVE THEM ALONE. DO NOT USE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL POSSIBLY BREAK YOUR STUFF.

Gene and his crew are excellent! We had a problem with our dryer, so we scheduled an appointment, but they weren't available for a few days. That was okay, we were willing to wait. Later that same day they called, and said they could move up the c""heck it out"" appointment. When Gene arrived , he quickly identified the problem, and took the time to make the fix that very day. One appointment and all was fixed! Great company to work with

We had a ""New"" hot water heater installed 2 years ago. I woke up one morning and my basement was completely flooded from the defective heater. I left 3 messages only to be told I would have to wait 3 days to have someone come out and they would charge nearly $100 for labor. The serial number was cut off of the ""new"" unit, voiding the 6 year warranty and I was told it was the home warranty company's fault. Gene, has zero integrity and was rude to my wife when all we were asking for was the serial number. That's it. Instead of fixing a $500 problem, they are now going to be sued for my whole basement. This company sucks. ZERO STARS to match the amount of integrity they display. DO NOT USE EVER! BBB has been notified.

Was behind one of their trucks and the truck slowed down and moved to the right of the road and I tried to go around to the left and suddenly, without signaling, the truck darted to the left. I hit the horn and stopped. The guy got out of the car like he wanted to get into it and I told him I hit the horn because it appeared he was stopping on the right side of the road and turned left without signaling. I closed my car door and he kept jawing and got back in, signaled a left turn and went into a driveway where another YMS truck was sitting. 9am in the morning! How about saying, I was not sure where the job was and I suddenly realize where it was and turned left without regard to anyone behind me...

York Mechanical Services Inc are CROOKS!!! We too, have a Home Warranty for the new house we just purchased in February. This company was called by the warranty company because the first day we turned our A/C unit on, it froze up in 24 hours. They couldn't get to us until 4 days later, so my Husband who used to do HVAC work for several years did a quick fix because it was the few days the temperature hit 95. When York Mechanical came out, they reported back to the warranty company that we need a whole new unit(4500.00) and that My Husband broke it. Of course, the warranty company said claim DENIED!! I spoke to a wonderful rep from the warranty company and they sent Freedom Comfort Services out for a second opinion and sure enough, it just needs a repair! That's all we wanted was a repair. We weren't asking for a new unit and My Husband didn't break it!

I would never recommend York Mechanical Services to anyone!!!! I would definitely recommend Freedom Comfort Services and I Thank Brian for his Honesty!
