York Mechanical was sent out by our warranty company. AC was not working only fan is working. Mechanic showed up checked the AC he states its low just a lil bit not by much. As he was done I told him the AC is not working he goes yes it is. I said sir only fan is working not a AC. AC compressor is not kicking on kid would now how AC works. He didn't like my answer and started to get Argumentive I dropped it and called warranty company again and told them of issue. Do not use this company save your self a time and troubles.

My favorite HVAC company. Good people you can trust. When our furnace shut down over a particularly cold Christmas holiday break. I panicked and called a '24-Hour' company. They said the furnace couldn't be fixed and we needed to replace it and the AC for about $8K (Merry Christmas).

I called York Mechanical, and a few hours later they diagnosed the problem and gave me two options, replace it for about $6K, or replace the motherboard (about $400 plus labor). They said the furnace would be fine with the new board, but the whole system (especially the AC unit) might need to be replaced sometime over the next 2-years. I asked them to replace the circuit board, and 3 hours later, warm and toasty!

There are lots of HVAC companies to chose from, but York Mechanical is the one you can trust.

We had a problem with our A.C. unit.

Through our home warranty company we had another company attempt to fix the problem but did not. York Mechanical was professional, kind, informative, and professional. They tech fixed our problem and actually provided other important information about our unit. I will request York Mech from our home warranty next time we need service.

Warranty company sent out this company for warranty work. Furnace would at least run for 10 minutes before they showed up. After their diagnosis they blamed a previous contractor for breaking pieces in the furnace and now it doesn't work at all. I am not an hvac tech but i don't understand how it worked before they showed up and didn't work at all after they left but supposedly it is another contractors fault it doesn't work. I've never had a technician tell me they need time to diagnose and I need to leave them alone. DO NOT LEAVE THEM ALONE. DO NOT USE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL POSSIBLY BREAK YOUR STUFF.

Gene and his crew are excellent! We had a problem with our dryer, so we scheduled an appointment, but they weren't available for a few days. That was okay, we were willing to wait. Later that same day they called, and said they could move up the c""heck it out"" appointment. When Gene arrived , he quickly identified the problem, and took the time to make the fix that very day. One appointment and all was fixed! Great company to work with

We had a ""New"" hot water heater installed 2 years ago. I woke up one morning and my basement was completely flooded from the defective heater. I left 3 messages only to be told I would have to wait 3 days to have someone come out and they would charge nearly $100 for labor. The serial number was cut off of the ""new"" unit, voiding the 6 year warranty and I was told it was the home warranty company's fault. Gene, has zero integrity and was rude to my wife when all we were asking for was the serial number. That's it. Instead of fixing a $500 problem, they are now going to be sued for my whole basement. This company sucks. ZERO STARS to match the amount of integrity they display. DO NOT USE EVER! BBB has been notified.
