I needed repiping done in my home. This company wanted to charge me $180 for an estimate. I received estimates from four other companies and none of them charged me for an estimate. It seems like Yolo Plumbing wants to nickel and dime for everything.

Great restaurants, wonderful massages, facials...stuff we love to YELP about...right? But sometimes you just have to deal with the basics in life!

My kitchen sink faucet broke off today and I am unable to use it. Which means a big pain in the you know what:). I really have more important and fun things to do during the holiday season than washing dishes in my Laundry Room!

Like a smart YELPER would do...I read reviews and selected three plumbing businesses to call for estimates. Which brings me to Yolo Plumbing! I am YELPING today about the great over-the- phone assistance Alan provided! A true professional who represents his Company well. Patiently explained to me that my job should take no longer than 1.5 hours and reviewed all prices. I really appreciated his knowledge and actually taking the time to answer all my questions in a kind, professional manner. But another company was available to fix the job tomorrow! So I went with them. I would use Yolo Plumbing in a heart beat if it were not an emergency!

If I feel safe with Yolo Plumbing so can you! Thanks Alan!

Addendum: I wish I would have waited 2 days for YOLO Plumbing :-( The plumber I selected ....while doing acceptable work, was very sneaky with his billing for the hours he worked. Or I should say the hour he did not work! Stay tuned for that review. Next time I will select the company with the ""longer in business"" proven record. Live and learn.

Summary: Simply the best experience I have had with plumbing services in and around Davis. All of the characteristics you look ( and hope) for in trades people: on time, knowledgeable, professional, customer service oriented and with reasonable rates!

Issue: Odd (foul) smell in the kitchen. Previous plumbers had investigated and were suggesting a re-piping solution.

Yolo Plumbers - Bill and Justin - first wanted to discuss any and all background information I had. (What, when, where etc etc.) Armed with this information they proceeded to eliminate possible causes by checking the obvious first and progressing to the more complex. After about 45 minutes they pulled the dishwasher out and identified the root cause of the odor; name, an old mouse nest.

Throughout the entire process they kept me informed as to their progress and made a couple of suggestions regarding how to improve the operating characteristics of my plumbing system as they put things back together. I felt no pressure to add these ""suggestions"" to the work being done.

Overall I would recommend Yolo Plumbing to anyone needing this type of service.

Yolo Plumbing Inc in Yolo County just left my home on a sewer line repair. Bill was the man that was sent to do an unpleasant job and had my fears removed instantly. I knew my problem was now his and he knew how to fix it. I watched the work because I wanted to see what the problem was and he let me. This company is one of integrity and honesty and CARES about the people who trust them. I saw the quality work preformed and knew he gave me his best. I give them the highest rating possible and my problems are now theirs.

Great customer service from Yolo Plumbing. I have worked with them about 2 years ago to have a Hot water circulation pump installed. Timing and quality of work was spot on. Love the great and prompt communication via email and phone.

We recently had a new property purchase and wanted to see what options were available. Yolo plumbing and their staff, took a lot of time and did a bunch of back-end research to find options for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Joe (the owner) came out to check on an unusual problem we had with our toilet. He spent considerable time investigating and determined that we really did not need anything to be replaced. He did not charge us for the visit even though it took quite a while. He explained everything wonderfully and was very kind and professional! We have used Yolo plumbing in the past as well and the costs were very reasonable and the technicians did excellent work. I would recommend Yolo plumbing to anyone - truly outstanding!

These guys are the best! I have used them several times and they are extremely helpful and capable. If there's a way to save money they will tell you. I have had them work on various projects from flushing water heaters to installing new parts.

I AM SO PLEASED! Bill from Yolo Plumbing came out the next day. I was told it could be anywhere from a 2-4 hour job quoted $250-450 (just an estimate). Bill was great. Super friendly and walked us through everything he was doing. He didn't mess around when it came to taking his time or doing unnecessary things. He unclogged a clog from our main line & used a camera to check our pipe all done within 1.5 hours costing only $200ish. I am very pleased and will use them again!
