Contractors like this are hard to find. I only wish this company serviced our area.

My in-laws have been using Yolo Plumbing in Davis for about 13 years. They recently passed away and my wife and I are responsible for the estate which includes selling a 60 year-old home in Davis. We live three hours away, so coordinating schedules was paramount.

We had a home inspection performed so we could address issues before putting the house on the market. We trusted Yolo Plumbing to handle the plumbing repairs.

While addressing the repairs from the inspector's report, ""Billy"" identified another leak by performing a simple ""compartment check"" (filling a sink with water and then letting it drain). The new discovery required a second appointment. We scheduled to meet with ""Joe"" (owner) and ""Ian"" a couple weeks later to complete the work.

During the second appointment, Joe understood that we had traveled to get the plumbing and other work done. He could not have predicted what he encountered, but he and Ian stayed until 8:00pm to complete the work!

It is apparent our home inspector did not perform the simple compartment check that Billy did. Had a potential buyer ordered another home inspection that included this test, we could have lost a sale or been asked to reduce the price to compensate.

These are good people! They're honest, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. They took the time to explain what is happening and why. They discussed issues with us before, during, and after repairs. Their communication is excellent!

We are grateful that they took the time and effort to not only identify issues, but to stay three hours after their normal quitting time to complete the work so we didn't have to schedule another appointment. Contractors like this are hard to find. I only wish this company serviced our area.

Great experience! Fair price. Allen assigned Koty to replace our main bath faucets. It was a pleasure to meet Koty- he was personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. We plan to use Yolo Plumbing for any future projects and highly recommend them!

Called Monday with a bad water heater. Tuesday - water heater replaced. Doesn't use bargain water heaters - these are the guys you use when you never want to deal with the problem ever again. Excellent at anticipating problems and fixing them before they become a real problem. I was lucky to Yelp them.

I had a gas leak in my back yard that PGE confirmed but could not locate. Bullseye plumbing told me I would need to repipe my entire house for gas because they could not locate the problem safely either. I called Yolo Plumbing and immediately got a sensible and thoughtful response. Joe (owner) and Koty came out within two days, carefully reasoned out where the leak should be, walked me through every step they were taking. Isolated the leak by thinking about it in an experienced, rational way. Then, they found and fixed it within the day. Just remarkable service. They were as invested in being able to succeed without costing me thousands and thousands of dollars as I was. The work was done neatly and carefully. My back yard was left in perfect order. Everything was professional, honest, transparent and effective. I could not recommend these guys more highly.

I highly recommend Yolo Plumbing. We had a seriously clogged kitchen sink that required the line to be snaked. Over 60 feet it turns out! I left a message and my call was promptly returned. This is a small, independent family business and they were booked out a week in advance when I called; by asking to be in line to take any last minute cancellations, they came out at the end of the following day. The owner, Joe Weins, who was assigned to our job, is professional, friendly, honest and competent. I will give Joe my business again with no hesitation.

Repaired a leaking toilet which required replacement of a valve I was sure was rusted tight, but it was no problem for Billy. He also solved a flow issue with our shower. Will definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Yolo Plumbing is awesome! I had a toilet which decided to leak a few days before Thanksgiving (oh noooo!). The folks at Yolo Plumbing were pretty buzy but managed to get my toilet problem fixed quickly and very reasonably. I highly recommend them since they were so responsive to my water leak problem and their plumbers were very skilled, polite and worked quickly and efficient. Much thanks to Alan for getting my small job squeezed into their already busy schedule, and to Bill and Koty who were the terrific repair team!

They initially scheduled an appointment for a week or so later but later called to say they had the part and could come that same day. The plumber who showed up was polite, quick, and clear in his explanations. He had to fix two other loose connections and a stuck faucet, previously undetected, before he could address the problem we had noticed.

Alan was very helpful on the phone in troubleshooting what the problem was with our kitchen sink leak. Even though they were quite booked up, Alan got a technician in quickly after we emailed him a photo of the leak and he diagnosed a worn kitchen wand line. We promptly went off to Home Depot to buy another fixture with a pull-out wand; the technician arrived to install it soon thereafter. Saved a lot of time and headaches. NICE company!
