So I usually can fix stuff myself but my Cousin who lives in San Jose needed someone right away. I called Extreme Plumbing and talked to Mike. He was very knowledgeable and said he could take care of the problem right away. The waterheater was old and leaking. They were able to do the job the same day I called them. Talk about ""Extreme"" !!! Great price, Quality work and definitely know what they are Doing. Highly recommend them. Thank you for doing a Kick Ass job.

I am very impressed at how fast and precise the team at Xtreme plumbing are. We had pipes rattling in our garage and wanted someone to take a look at it. Michael and his team arrived and diagnosed the issue and it was a quick fix. They didn't even charge me for the visit.

Called because my bathroom sink was leaking. the scheduled 12-2 pm scheduled time was great he was here right at 12 pm. When he looked at the plumbing he said and I agreed that I needed a new pop-up because it was leaking from a striped nut and that it would cost $135.00 and I said ok. Where this gets interesting is that he told me that to snake the pipe it would cost an additional $185.00 to unclog the pipe. I told him that I felt I was getting nickle and dimed to death and that I would snake the pipe myself. He went outside and called his boss and came back with a quote and the quote said that it would cost $155.00 for the pop-up and they were giving me a discount at $135.00, this discount wasn't even mentioned when he first told me it would cost $135.00. Attitude also changed when he handed me the quote and he asked me if I still wanted him to replace the pop-up and I said yes, I agreed to the $135.00 charge. While he was installing the part I asked him if he was going to address the issue of the clogged drain for which was the original reason for the call, that's when he said I would get a discount for snaking the drain and I said I felt the $185.00 was too much and he said no it would be $85.00 to snake the drain, I would get the discount, so I said ok then snake the drain! He then said he's declining to snake the drain so I said you want to run from here don't you and he said yes, and then said ""just joking"". So, after he left I cleaned the last elbow out that goes into the wall (I also cleaned the gunk from all the other pieces, I offered to) and snaked the pipe to which there was nothing clogged and put the plumbing back together and it works fine now. Also note he used one of my towels to soak up the dirty water and packed the stinking wet towel behind the vanity drawer and underneath the pipes and left the dishpan that had all of the broken pop-up parts in with the disgusting water in it and left it on my bathroom floor. So two things: Communication on pricing, it will cost more than you think! Secondly, have the decency to clean-up your mess!

The team is great to work with. Asked for a quote Sunday night and had a response in less than 30 minutes and asked if the could be here following morning for a clogged drain and they said yes between 9-10am. Isaiah showed up promptly at 9am. He was great and went straight to work fixing the clog. He was fast and polite. Thank you for the help.

My recent review https://www.yelp.com/biz/r-p-s-ribbs-premier-services-plumbing-rooter-san-jose explained my issue and previous encounter with RPS Ribbs. I had multiple bidding out and one was to RPS and one to Xtreme. I fell for RPS because they had a professional customer service answering my message, plus they offered free estimate. Mike from Xtreme on the other hand, message was short and direct, and quoted me $185 to cut open the drywall for investigation and would be applied to the cost of the repair. So naturally i went with RPS first thinking i would save me on investigation. Well, as you can read from my review, it didn't fair well with RPS (and instead i paid $63 more compare to quote from Xtreme for just the investigation) so i came back to Xtreme

I messaged Mike and he quoted me $550 to replace waste and overflow pipe (conclusion from RPS), which is less than half of RPS Ribbs already. I got on his calendar at the earliest of my convenience. Mike came with his apprentice and started investigating just to make sure the root cause. The two works in perfect tandem, yelling back and forth, one downstairs checking the leak, Mike upstairs turning on water, pulling shower lever, all kinds of experiment. This works very efficient vs having to going back and forth if Mike was alone. Mike quickly identify the problem being the faucet nibble (pipe), and not the waste and overflow pipe that RPS Ribbs had claimed, and gave me a very reasonable quote at $135 for replacement and seal, which saved me $1100 from RPS!!! The job took less than 20 min.

On top of that, I asked Mike to pull out a broken cartridge from another shower and again, he quoted me 20% lower than competition (RPS didn't have the tool to do the job, and the quote was only covers pulling the broken piece). Mike's apprentice got it done in 5min, And replaced the new cartridge I had and screwed everything back without me asking nor charging extra!

Not only was Mike extremely knowledgeable, he was thorough in his investigation before coming to conclusion. I thought Mike's pricing is more than reasonable and fair vs others. He was not here to sell me anything, and was truly honest in doing his job at fixing issues.

We got an emergency call from our tenants on a Saturday saying that the upstairs toilet was overflowing and water was pouring into the kitchen downstairs. I frantically called plumbers and most were either closed or didn't serve the area or would only come check out the place hours/days later. The Xtreme plumbers came quickly, ran some quick diagnostic tests, snaked the drain and fixed the problem. They were prompt, professional and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Cost was reasonable too. Thanks guys!

Francisco re-piped the mainline for us. He was friendly and efficient. Inspector came and signed off the permit in minutes. The work for closing holes and put asphalt & concrete back was a little messy but he retouched the work after couple weeks.
