As a child, shadowing my father, Eddy Oppelt began his journey in home systems. After that, he wanted to expand his expertise. His passion turned towards HVAC, ventilation, A/C, and refrigeration, which resulted in the establishment of what is now known as Xtreme Air Services.

I hired this contractor to serve some rental properties. From the beginning it was a disaster. Over the course of a year, they performed several jobs for me:
1. Install an interior air handler. They overbid it by $1,200 and then installed it incorrectly and just left. They knew the job wasn't finished but after three days of nobody coming to finish the job and I had to call them several times and threaten to sue them before they finally came back out. Then it still didn't work, and the tech told me the thermostat should have been replaced at the same time. It took several calls to the service manager to get them back out to finish the install.
2. During a quote to replace an interior air handler, they asked if they could have their plumber come out and propose a bid on the apartment's water heater. He quoted my wife over $1,200 to fix it (I later found a plumber who did the same work for $200) and when my wife began to ask questions, he became very aggressive with her and the AC techs had to intervene. I told her on the phone to ask him to leave.
3. I had purchased an annual service contract for them to come out and service for AC units. So I took a day off of work to meet them. After they didn't show up and several calls, they finally called me and told me the weather was too cold and rainy for them to do the work. This was 2:00 pm. The weather was sunny and 70 degrees. When I called Jake, the service manager, he seemed agitated at my complaint and told me they would refund the service contract cost...that they didn't want to do the maintenance work.
4. I had a condenser unit go out and when they sent the tech out to diagnose it, he lost all of the security screws to the security cage. I had to call the service manager Jake, eight times to get it resolved. He kept setting appointments for a tech to come out and source the screws and replace what he damaged. Finally after missing two appointments they simply gave me $50 to replace the screws. But before he offered to reimburse me, he wanted to sell me a condenser, which had already been replaced by another vendor. (it took almost two months to get this resolved.)
I've dealt with bad contractors before, but never to this extent. Poor work quality and even worse service. I'm glad to have moved on.

Extremely dishonest company. They charged me to service my unit. When my AC unit failed this summer another company came out and showed me how no work was done. My unit was cover in filth. So they charged me for a service they did not provide.
Completely mangled my filter on my inside unit, it was so bad that it was not working correctly and it was even put in backwards.
Third they completely missed a crack in my furance that was leaking into my house.
They overcharge for services they never provide. I would avoid them at all costs.

They charged me $140.00 for a capacitor/starter that sells for $13.95.Plus a $79.00 service call fee. That is a 1000% price mark up on the part.Grand total $223.00 . I told the tech and the person that made the appointment at the office I suspected this to be the problem...4 screws for the cover panel,remove old unit,replace unit and hook 3 electrical connectors to new starter...Takes 5 minutes at the most...I ordered a spare online,OEM,$13.95...I can understand a price mark up on carried parts but this is high way robbery.I sent an email to corporate 2 days ago explaining this and more...No response...I will never do business with this company again...Here is pic of the old starter and my spare I just got online for $13.95...

They responded promptly, and I had a quote the next day and AC installed two days later. Dakota, Roland, and Billy were all very polite and personable. They explained all that they had done in terms I could understand. They cleaned up their mess afterwards, and even vacuumed. Overall I had a great experience with Xtreme Air.

They installed my system in 2014. They were excellent then. I found out recently they started to provide plumbing services and I had some issues with my toilets. I called them and the plumber came out. I have had nothing but issues since with my toilets. Everytime I call they come out and want to charge me more and more money. It seems I have had every plumber they have out at my house. I called in to address my issues and was transferred to the plumbing department. Let me tell you the lady(she said she was the head of plumbing or something along those lines) is just as bad as the plumbers. I understand that the customer is not always right but when a customer has several issues with the same thing ongoing you would think they would do something. Everytime it's so called a different issue than last time and want to charge me a ridiculous amount. they were after my money and not my best interest. I have decided not to use Xtreme Air Services anymore because of this. You can call and complain all you want nothing gets addressed or resolved with those people. The service has gone down hill since I first started using them.

These folks are real nice when selling you a new system. And everything seemed to be going ok as they started the install. Then it began to turn into some sort of homeowner nightmare. The new 12k furnace all the sudden needs 10k worth of new ductwork, the electrician doesn't want to install the fixture he has been called out to because HE doesn't like that kind,and wants to replace them all with something else. As a homeowner I get do decide what fixtures I want in the house not the person installing them. Painters don't pick your paint color, and flooring guys doing pick your tile/carpeting.
As if that were not enough the gas hot water heater magically quit working the very night the gas furnace was installed. This seemed just a little too strange. Two service technicians were sent out to investigate determining that a new water was needed for 3000. Now, this just didn't seem right. PAID another company look and nothing is wrong with it. Extreme air had the gas cut off in the attic to the water heater.
A 12k furnace which is expensive enough nearly turned into a 26k ordeal. This has been beyond stressful.

I brought a brand new home in 2014, my heater stopped blowing heat last Dec. called Xtreme Air and they fixed the problem Yey, then in June the a/c stopped they charged Me almost 700.00 to fix it. OK here a year later the heater goes out again. Called Xtreme Air for the 3rd time, they tell me the zone board is out will be over 2.100.00 to fix.. well Damn new house what the heck,so I called someone else. The problem with the zone board the wires were connected wrong, wow that's the same thing Xtreme Air told me a year ago and charged me for fixing it. People watch out I smell a scam,either the technicians are not knowledgeable or they're scammers but watch out. GET A SECOND OPINION

I called them on a Sunday and they came that afternoon. The drain was plugged and they needed to clean it out twice but clearly explained what was happening. I have a maintenance agreement with them, so most of of the fees were covered. Juan did a great job. Thanks

I highly recommend Xtreme Air Services. They have EXCELLENT customer service. Every single person I've dealt with at this company put my satisfaction first! My AC went out and they came out the same day and repaired it! I made the decision to go ahead and replace the entire unit. They came out two days later to install the new unit and did an excellent job. THANK YOU XTREME AIR SERVICES!!

I want to express my overwhelming gratitude for the services that Xtreme Air Services provided me & my husband. Our technician, Jason, was professional, informative & fully explained why our unit was not working properly. Another company had done shotty work, which literally put my home at risk for a fire. Jason had photographs of what was wrong, explained in detail the cost & needed repairs & offered us a maintenance warranty that will ensure our home is safe & our unit works properly.
