Rafael assessed the clogged plumbing quickly and without fanfare. He quoted the job after assessing without pressure before starting work. Plumbing is a service industry and having a company that spells things out quickly, efficiently and competently is valuable. Appointment was confirmed using sms so no ambiguity about the time/date, 2 hr arrival interval. Invoice arrived via email. Solid!

I was disappointed today in the result of service by Wizard Plumbing. I had a problem with the diverter on my shower/bath faucet such that, in the shower position, water would still partially come out of the bathtub faucet. It seemed a simply replacement on the faucet would resolve the problem.

However, it did not completely fix the problem. I still some water emptying into the bathtub when diverted to the shower head. I was warned and told that this is due to issues with the valves. I don't understand why the valves, which turn on or off the flow of water would affect the functioning of the diverter. One controls the flow of water, the other its direction. When asked for an explanation, he told me repeatedly that ""everything is connected,"" as though this explains anything. It's hard to accept an explanation like this that explains nothing.

I was also told that the company does not have older parts or replace them. So instead of replacing the valve stems, he said I would need an extensive overhaul of the system. And it would cost about $4000!

Perhaps there is something I am missing, but this just doesn't ring true to me. In the end, my issue was only partially resolved.

I have been trying to determine if I have a leak. I called a different company that was highly rated on Yelp first and the guy came out and just glanced around a bit and concluded that I needed to repipe my entire house. Hey, I just wanted to know if I had a leak, not if I needed to repipe my house.

Then I called Wizard Plumbing and Drain. I loved these guys. They were very polite and personable. The guy helped me understand things and seemed to listen to what I had to say and care what I was saying.

He seemed to know what he was doing and while he thinks that I do not have a leak, and my current water damage is from a leak that was fixed previously, he did help me know what steps I should take to fix my water damage. He also helped me with a different small problem for free.

Wizard is fantastic. I needed my kitchen faucet replaced and I called them because of their rating on Yelp. The phone dispatcher was polite and help. They sent out Gregg the same day. He took a look at the faucet and gave me an estimate. He also checked out the Moen faucet I had purchased and suggested I return it and get a different faucet from Delta that was more reliable and had a better seal in his experience. I got estimates from several folks. Honestly, Wizard's estimate was the most expensive, but I ultimately went with them because Gregg was so friendly and knowledgable. When I got the new faucet, Wizard sent out Gregg the same day. He was fantastic. And because he finished the job quickly, he discounted the price to be 15% LESS than he had estimated. Amazing. I'll always go back to them.

First, they came the next day after I called for a garbage disposal estimate. I needed a new one. Second, Jay arrived and he was polite, helpful, and very good at his job! He actually had what I needed in the truck and went to Home Depot to get a piece I also needed. He arrived here at 4...on the dot, and I had a brand new garbage disposal by 5:30...WITH a trip to Home Depot in there as well. Jay was wonderful!!!

So far, we have had Wizard come out 3 times for separate issues and each time, the experience has been nothing short of excellent. I cannot recommend this company enough. Plumbing issues suck but so glad we know who to call!

Manny and Israel installed two toilets for us in our condo. They arrived early within the window arrival time and were COVID-19 compliant in regards to wearing protective gear. The install went smoothly and we were pleasantly surpised how efficient, respectful of property and thorough they were when completing the job. I appeciated how clean they left the work area too. We are very happy customers and would choose Wizard Plumbing and recommend Manny and Israel services again.

Rafael & Dan did a great job replacing our kitchen sink fixtures. I particularly appreciated the cautions they took to keep the kitchen clean throughout the job, which had the potential to get quite messy. Rafael also was very thorough and professional when he came out to do our estimate. I'd had three other plumbers come through already, and he still managed to figure out what the real problem was with our instant hot water dispenser (saving us several hundred dollars in parts and labor) and also recognizing that only one of our angle stops needed to be replaced.

Thankfully I haven't needed a lot of plumbing help but Wizard will be my first call next time I do!

Our 16 year old Bosch tankless water heater stopped working so we searched on Yelp for a plumber who works on tankless water heaters. Wizard has a lot of really good reviews so gave them a try. Manny came out and after looking at the error code on our Bosch unit he said it cannot be repaired. Since we needed a new tankless water heater I asked him about the ""cold water sandwich"" inherent in these types of water heaters and he recommended a Rinnai unit for us. Admittedly the estimate was a lot higher than I expected but we were desperate and needed hot water. They did not have it in stock so had to order it and said he could have it in 2 days. So we had another 2 days of boiling water for bathing while we waited.

On the day he said he would return, Manny returned with Israel, his assistant, and the new Rinnai water heater. It took a good 4-5 hours of work for them to install it so I guess I know why the high cost of installation. The new unit works perfectly with an app to initiate recirculation. I have not noticed any ""cold water sandwich"" anymore with this new water heater. It works perfectly.

I would highly recommended Manny and Israel at Wizard Plumbing. They took the time to do the work needed.
