Have used Wimpy's for both AC and Plumbing and have been very happy with the work done. My grandparents always used Wimpys so now its a family tradition. If your looking for a honest family run company to handle your plumbing and AC needs look no further. Have had my Annual maintenance done on AC and never had any follow up issues technician showed me everything he was doing and what he found. Just recently had a Halo 5 whole home water filtration installed due to poor water quality and instantly had better water and everything looks so clean from the install. Totally worth having them out to your home.

Had another great experience with the Wimpy's team today. From start to finish they took care of our house while they replaced our air conditioning unit. Had a backed up drain in the house. Called Wimpy's and they sent Cody to the rescue. After about 20 minutes of assessing my problem and snaking the main drain in my front yard, everything was running like a charm. Definitely #1 in the #2 business!

Avoid Wimpy's. It's that simple. Just over 18 months ago they installed a water heater in our home. The installer broke the existing drain pan at the time, but quipped """"don't worry, with this water heater, you won't need it anyway."""" Well, 18 months later the heater is leaking into the heater's electronics. I called today to get a replacement installed. I figured that since the original Rheem heater has a 6 year warranty, that the replacement would be at no charge - or at maybe a nominal fee. But Wimpy's wants the astronomical amount of $700 for the installation of a new water heater that comes free to them from Rheem because of the warranty -- and this is a discount from the $1200 price because we're such good customers who have spent more than $20,000 on HVAC and plumbing over the last 2 years. They sold me a lemon for $1500 about 18 months ago and now want another $700 for a couple hours of work to install a replacement. I'm dumbfounded at the greed. Does any contractor stand behind their products and service any longer? Is there an honest contractor left in Florida? I haven't found many. I asked why they won't stand behind their products... Why does a warranty replacement cost so much. Jesse (a manager?) gave me some BS answer that you'd get from all of the least reputable contractors in Florida. Basically, they sell you crap and hope that you'll keep paying over the short life of the product. I've been in Florida for 22 years and have heard most of the excuses for bad workmanship and service. I won't throw good money after bad. I'll try to find another plumber who can install a quality product. You should too.

We've had several wonderful experiences with Wimpy's: everything from installing a dishwasher to fixing some minor plumbing issues around the house. Every time I call, Lori has been so nice, and Mike has always been cheerful, efficient, on-time, and charged us a fair price. When I called this morning about not getting water into the house from our well, Lori commiserated and scheduled me in even though they already had a full day. And even better, she called a short while later to let me know that Bubba could come over even earlier. Here's the best part: the problem turned out to be electrical, not plumbing, but did that stop him? Nope! Where other plumbers would have said """"not my problem"""", Bubba worked his magic and fixed it. Both he and Mike are also so great at explaining what they're doing and why, never assuming anything that could lead to redoing work later on. I learn a lot about plumbing each time. If you want a plumber you can trust, give Wimpy's a call. We won't use anyone else!
