Avoid Wimpy's. It's that simple. Just over 18 months ago they installed a water heater in our home. The installer broke the existing drain pan at the time, but quipped """"don't worry, with this water heater, you won't need it anyway."""" Well, 18 months later the heater is leaking into the heater's electronics. I called today to get a replacement installed. I figured that since the original Rheem heater has a 6 year warranty, that the replacement would be at no charge - or at maybe a nominal fee. But Wimpy's wants the astronomical amount of $700 for the installation of a new water heater that comes free to them from Rheem because of the warranty -- and this is a discount from the $1200 price because we're such good customers who have spent more than $20,000 on HVAC and plumbing over the last 2 years. They sold me a lemon for $1500 about 18 months ago and now want another $700 for a couple hours of work to install a replacement. I'm dumbfounded at the greed. Does any contractor stand behind their products and service any longer? Is there an honest contractor left in Florida? I haven't found many. I asked why they won't stand behind their products... Why does a warranty replacement cost so much. Jesse (a manager?) gave me some BS answer that you'd get from all of the least reputable contractors in Florida. Basically, they sell you crap and hope that you'll keep paying over the short life of the product. I've been in Florida for 22 years and have heard most of the excuses for bad workmanship and service. I won't throw good money after bad. I'll try to find another plumber who can install a quality product. You should too.

We just had all of our old systems replaced and couldn't be happier with the results. True professionals and great employees. Quality work, really easy to work with, showed up on time, and left everything neat as a pin each evening. I would give them a 10 if I could.

Disappointing. Unclogged the sewer for almost $400 for 10 minutes work, then proposed a $2400 service that we didn't need. Kept calling back trying to get us to 'donate' $2400 more to their profits....lol. I reminded them that $400 goes into 2400 SIX times so we can unclog it six times for that price, which would take many years. Do not recommend.

Sean just serviced my bathroom shower and sink. They were clogged and he removed and snaked the debris out and I no longer have to take a bath in my shower. He was very professional and let me know the cost of his services up front. I would HIGHLY recommend Sean and Wimpy's plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

overall service from Wimpy's for both AC and plumbing has been great. We recently had Austin and Nathan here and both are all around great guys and very helpful and knowledgeable. We use to hire Veterans Air and last time I called them for 6-month checkup on AC they tried to schedule me 5 months out. So my twice/year maintenance contract was really a once per year contract. Sent an email to Wimpy's at 7:00 am and the tech was at our house by 10:00 am same day. And the techs are all nice and knowledgeable people. Very happy we switched to Wimpy's. We've used them for both plumbing and AC and very pleased with their service.

Wimpy's stands behind their warranties. A couple of years ago, we purchased an entire new Champion A/C system from them. The condenser failed this week. Although it took a couple of days for them to find a replacement due to a Champion parts shortage, as soon as they located one, they came right out that day to replace the condenser with a new one at no cost to us. The technicians were polite and empathetic.

We called Wimpy's to get an estimate on a whole house re-pipe job. They came out that day, actually, and we had their estimate in 24hrs. It was 250% higher than the three other estimates we got later. Do your homework and don't get taken advantage of.
